Reception Area – Welcome to the Greenlane Veterinary Centre reception, where you will be warmly welcomed by our receptionist. For your pet’s safety near this main road, please keep your pet on a lead or in it’s travel cage.
Pet supplies and accessories shop – We have a range of pet accessories, treats, gifts and premium pet food available.
Consultation room – Our two spacious consultation rooms ensure privacy during your visit and seating for your comfort. They are also stocked with treats for those dogs needing a little encouragement!
Preparation room – Situated in the heart of the Veterinary Clinic, this room is where blood samples are taken, minor procedures are carried out and all the cuddles are given! Sterile surgery suite
Sterile surgery suite – All sterile procedures are performed in this specially designed theatre. Our fully trained nurses monitor every general anaesthetic using a range of monitoring equipment to ensure your pet has the safest anaesthetic possible.
Recovery cages – Your pets recover from their general anaesthetic on a warm snuggly bed. They are monitored closely by our nursing staff during the recovery phase.
Hospital ward – All of our hospital is heated in winter and cooled in summer to keep your pets comfortable year round
Ultasound – Our state of the art ultrasound machine allows us to ultrasound the heart and abdominal organs when investigating illness in your pet.
Microscope for in house cytology – We are equipped to analyse samples such as skin scrapes, selotape preps, impression smears, ear swabs, urine sediment and cells from lumps. We also offer services to send samples to New Zealand Veterinary laboratories.
In-clinic Laboratory – We have a fully equipped laboratory for our in-house blood tests. We can also perform pre-anaesthetic blood panels. Pre-anaesthetic blood tests are a mini panel that can reveal undiagnosed kidney or liver problems and allow us to select the most appropriate anaesthetic regime for your pet.
Dental suite – The dental room is equipped with ultrasonic dental equipment to scale and polish your pet’s teeth back to pearly whites. Freshen your pet’s breath with a routine dental scale and polish.
Dental x-ray – We perform dental x-rays if your pet has suffered dental trauma, dental malocclusion and can be used to aid decision making for tooth extractions.
Isolation ward – Our isolation ward is used to keep any potential infectious diseases contained, ensuring our hospital patients remain free from disease.
