Current COVID-19 protocols
Appointments under current traffic light system
With the shift to the COVID-19 traffic light system, all fully vaccinated clients will finally be able to enter the clinic with their pets again. The following protocols have been implemented as guided by the New Zealand Veterinary Association and NZ Veterinary Council:
- It is a requirement that all people entering the clinic are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and can provide a ‘My Vaccine Pass’. As a close contact business, we cannot operate without this
- For those not ready to physically come inside the clinic yet or for those that don’t have the ‘My Vaccine Pass’, we can still provide the same contactless service from the carpark that we have come to know over alert level 3 and 4
- Please scan our QR code or give your details to reception for contact tracing purposes
- Face masks are mandatory
- One fully vaccinated person may accompany your pet into the consult room, but please remain at least 1 metre distanced where possible
PLEASE NOTE: We respect everyone’s right to make a personal decision regarding their vaccination status and will continue to provide all pets with excellent veterinary care. If you are unvaccinated, or prefer not to disclose your vaccination status, we will continue to treat your pet while you remain in your car as we have been doing in Alert Levels 3 and 4. We are continuing to work very hard to ensure your pets receive the care they deserve. Our main focus is the health and safety of our staff and our clients, some of whom may be immune compromised.
We please respectfully ask all clients who are unwell to not travel to the clinic. Please call the clinic first to discuss options.
After hours veterinary care
If we are closed please call one of the emergency after hours clinics such as VSA in Sylvia Park (09 320 5645) or AEC in Mt Albert (09 849 2121).
